The All Surface Protection Detail is our entry level detailing option. The detail is designed to create the best possible paintwork shine without lengthy machine polishing.
The detail starts with a foam pre rinse, which is applied and left to dwell. Following this we use a Two Bucket wash method with a sheep skin wash mitt, and a pH neutral shampoo. The wheels are also treated with an acid free wheel cleaner to remove brake dust and stubborn dirt. At this stage the wheel arches, door shuts & engine bay are cleaned with a citrus degreaser. With most of the loose dirt and grime off the car, we move on to the decontamination process.
The first stage is a chemical to break down the larger contamination, including iron particles. Once this initial cleaning is complete the car is dried with a plush microfibre drying towel. With the car dry the clay process can begin, this removes the finer contamination from the paintwork. After the claying a layer of glaze is applied to the paint to mask minor defects and enhance the shine. It's then time for the LSP (Last Stage Protection) to be added, we have a range of chemical sealants and Carnauba waxes to suit any colour/protection requirements.
To finish the tyres and engine bay are dressed, glass is polished along with the exhaust tip(s) and the wheels are given a coat of protection. The interior is also vacuumed and all surfaces cleaned using an all purpose cleaner.
